Hypnotic Gastric Band

The hypnotic gastric band is the safer alternative to the real gastric band operation.

The actual gastric band operation is only available on the NHS to those who are classified as ‘obese’ and with a BMI of over 30. It is a highly highly expensive operation usually costing up to £7,000 if done privately and requiries hospitalisation. It is known to have major complications including risk of general anaesthetic, DVT and MRSA.

The gastric band operation reduces the size of the stomach so that the patient cannot physically overeat thus resulting in weight loss. It is a highly complicated operation and patients can take weeks to recover from it.

The hypnotic gastric band however is ideal for anyone who is overweight and wishes to lose weight by controlling the amount they eat. Please note that it is not on offer to anyone suffering with eating disorders.

This pioneering form of hypnotherapy involves imagining going through the actual operation whilst under medium to deep trance. The end result is that the client comes away feeling that they have in fact had their stomach reduced significantly in size. This reduction means that they eat less which then results in weight loss.

The hypnotic gastric band has a significantly high success rate for losing weight compared to diets which have a high failure rates.

To get the ’success mind-set’ that is needed I recommend a minimum of 3 - 5 sessions, in some cases more may be required.
